PRESENTACIÓN
The Covid19 pandemic has, at least, brought an acute awareness of our deeply embedded need to access nature and our obligation to improve our relationship with the natural world. Globally, momentum has been growing to ensure that environmental sustainability becomes an intrinsic part of the foundations of our post-Covid future. Indeed, several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Objectives (SDO) are directly related to the environment and the ethical issues implicit in moving towards a better future.
During this health crisis younger children have suffered from being confined away from natural spaces as well as seeing their right to play freely curtailed.
This course seeks to combine the acquisition of English with learning opportunities that engage children with the natural world while promoting respect for their natural surroundings because… not all classrooms have four walls.
OBJETIVOS
Provide teachers with a set of COVID friendly resources to introduce environmental awareness into their day to day activities inside and outside the classroom.
Discover a different way to teach and transmit values.
Promote the use of creativity to transform common games and activities to be COVID safe.
Inspire, motivate, and challenge teachers to take action and go a step further in the movement for change.

El curso se realizará por videoconferencia a través de Teams, excepto la última sesión que será presencial si la situación sanitaria lo permite.

Horario: De 18.00 a 20.00 horas
PROFESORADO DESTINATARIO
Profesorado de inglés y programas bilingües de Educación Primaria.

CRITERIOS DE SELECCIÓN
La selección se realizará por orden de inscripción entre el profesorado destinatario.
No se admitirá a más de un docente por centro en caso de sobredemanda.

CONDICIONES DE CERTIFICACIÓN
Asistencia, como mínimo, al 85% de las sesiones, de acuerdo con la normativa vigente (Orden EDU/41/2009).
