INTRODUCCIÓN

The implementation of bilingual programmes in Cantabria is nowadays an objective fact which involves a whole range of teachers and students in our schools. We do believe it is highly recommendable to organize training activities which provide teachers with a deep theoretical ground to base their daily work on together with a good amount of practical resources to improve their CLIL proposals.

OBJETIVOS

The aim of the three-day workshop is to provide participants with:
- an overview of CLIL approaches in Secondary, their concepts and terminology.
- an opportunity to improve knowledge and skills in CLIL methodology through a consideration of the types of activity that are most associated with the approach.
- a way of understanding CLIL through hands-on tasks.
- a new ‘3-dimensional’ model of CLIL that will form the basis of a new book on the approach (out with OUP, December 2014)
